Over the past eighteen months, Lavasource has opened offices in the United States, Canada, and the Philippines, building on our existing presence in the UK, India, and Mauritius. None of it was speculative. Every location followed demand that was already there. That is not a growth strategy. That is a delivery strategy. There is a difference, and it matters.
A model five years in the making
There is a well-documented argument in the professional services industry that no consultancy can operate as a pure people business anymore. Technology has to amplify what your people do, or the model does not scale.
We have been doing exactly that for five years.
You cannot serve clients across 51 countries by putting a person in every postcode. Technology has to amplify your people, not just count them.
The model works like this. We own skilled teams in key global hubs: a blend of expert consultants who know the technology inside out, and practitioners who have done the HR and payroll job themselves. They know what it feels like to sit in the client’s seat. That combination is what makes the difference between an implementation that goes live and a transformation that actually sticks.
Those teams are supplemented by a global talent marketplace of professionals across 70 countries: vetted, specialized, and available to extend capacity without the lead time of a hire. An AI-powered technology layer runs across all of it, so delivery quality stays consistent regardless of where the people sit.
United States: where the demand was already waiting
We established our US presence in October 2025. By that point, we were already supporting a substantial and growing base of American clients: organizations navigating complex acquisitions, consolidating fragmented HR systems, and asking more of their technology than most implementation partners were willing to take on.
The presence did not create the demand. The demand created the presence.
Being in market changes what is possible for clients in the region. It means in-region expertise, faster mobilization, and the kind of face-to-face engagement that complex, multi-year programmes often require but rarely get from firms that treat North America as a sales territory rather than a delivery commitment.
“Their ability to combine deep technical know-how with a clear understanding of our business challenges meant we could accelerate our transformation while minimizing disruption. Having a North American presence will only make that partnership stronger.” – Marshall Fowle, Director Corporate Technology, Norstella.
We are already working with clients across banking, professional services, technology, and infrastructure across the US market. The North American team is growing.
Canada and the Philippines: active and growing
Canada and the Philippines are both already active. Canada extends our North American reach into a market with its own distinct compliance and bilingual requirements. The Philippines is our primary Asia Pacific delivery hub: technically strong talent, built for complex HCM and payroll implementation at global scale.
The talent marketplace as the multiplier
The hub model and the talent marketplace are not separate things. The talent marketplace is what makes the hubs scale.
Our global talent community connects thousands of HR, payroll, and technology specialists across 70 countries. For clients, it means the right expertise is available at the right moment. For Lavasource, it means capacity that grows with demand rather than ahead of it.
When a client engagement scales, or when a programme requires a specialist in a specific platform, geography, or regulatory environment, we do not have to hire and wait. We draw from that bench. This is what turns a talent community from a standalone business line into a commercial engine that makes everything else more capable.
What is next
The Philippines hub is growing fast. The North American team is expanding. The talent marketplace is adding professionals across new markets every quarter.
South Africa is next on the horizon: a market with deep HR and technology talent, and the right foundation for the next stage of our global build-out. More on that when the time is right.
If your organisation is working through an HR or payroll transformation and you want a partner who has delivered it at scale across multiple geographies, we would like to hear from you.
